• Vote Quarterly: Join us in our quarterly voting sessions to decide which local educators and organizations will benefit from the Home with Hutch charity fund.
• Spread the Word: Share the story of the Home with Hutch charity and encourage others to support this initiative.

 Loan Amounts and Donations:

• $0 – $600,000:                 $250 per loan
• $600,001 – $1,200,000:   $500 per loan
• $1,200,001 and above:    $750 per loan

Participation: Every past client who participates can vote on the finalists.

Distribution:

• 1st Place:    50% of the total fund
• 2nd Place:  30% of the total fund
• 3rd Place:   20% of the total fund

  1. Voting and Entry Submission:

• Past clients who choose to opt-in can:
  • Vote quarterly 
  • Submit one entry per year.
• Past clients who opt-out will not be allowed to:
  • Vote or 
  • Submit yearly entries.

2. Client Communication:

• Clients will receive email reminders at the beginning of each quarter to submit entries for that period.
• A voting email will be sent to all participants one month before the voting deadline.  
• Reminder emails will be sent twice during the voting month to participants who have not yet voted.

3. Video Entry Guidelines:

• Format: Entries must be in video format and submitted by or about:
  • Teachers, classes, or schools
  • Local charities
  • Local businesses
  • Families in need
• Content Requirements:
  • Cause Name and Location
  • Explanation of how the cause helps the community
  • Involvement of others to express the impact of the cause on the community
  • Detailed explanation of how funds will be used if awarded
  • Duration: Between 60 to 120 seconds
  • Tone: Entries should be engaging and fun!
• All entries must be submitted by the end of the second month of each quarter:  
  • 1st Quarter:   Febuary 28
  • 2nd Quarter: May 31
  • 3rd Quarter: August 31
  • 4th Quarter: November 30
• Decision Making: Martin Hutchings will have the final say on whether submitted causes align with the charity's mission and meet all criteria.

4. Voting Process:

All participants will receive A voting email one month before the voting deadline. 

• Reminder emails will be sent twice during the voting month to participants who have not yet voted.
• Voting Deadlines:  
  • 1st Quarter: Voting ends March 31
  • 2nd Quarter: Voting ends June 30
  • 3rd Quarter: Voting ends September 30
  • 4th Quarter: Voting ends December 31

5. Announcement of Winners:

• Winners will be announced online by the 15th of the first month following the voting:

Quarter Winners Announcement Dates:  

• 1st Quarter Winners: Announced by April 15
• 2nd Quarter Winners: Announced by July 15
• 3rd Quarter Winners: Announced by Oct 15th 
• 4th Quarter Winners: Announced by Jan. 15th

These rules are designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and engaging process for all participants, aligning with the mission of the Home with Hutch charity to support and uplift various community causes.
